Low Income Housing Apartment Capitalization Rates

The Kerr Central Appraisal District gives notice of the capitalization rate to be used for the current appraisal year to value properties receiving exemptions under Low Income Housing pursuant to Sec. 11.1825 of the Texas Property Tax Code.  The current year’s overall capitalization rates for low income restricted apartment projects in Kerr County, Texas is 8.75%.  However, adjustments may be made based on the individual characteristics and the information provided to the chief appraiser as required under sections 11.1825 and 11.1826.
